Last year, with our steps, we stepped to awareness of the 94 Calls to Action that came out of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. With each step, we grew in awareness of how we can do our part. Once a week, there was an organized walk, discussion over coffee; each week we answered the question, "How does this relate to the grandmothers in Africa?"
As we say to the African grandmothers with whom we stand in solidarity,
“We will not rest, until they can rest.”
