Wild Art for the Big of Heart
This May, Victoria artist Tanya Bub invites the public to experience a powerful fusion of art, storytelling, and activism with her latest exhibition, Wild Art for the Big of Heart.
Running May 12–31, 2026, this ambitious sculpture show celebrates ten local charities while directly supporting their work: 25% of any Tanya Bub artwork purchase will be donated to a participating charity of the buyer’s choice, transforming each piece into a vehicle for change.
One of the organizations featured is The Thinking Garden, a women-run farm in South Africa whose story Dr. Elizabeth Vibert turned into a wonderful documentary film that new members might want to see on May 19, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Other members might want to see it again in the context of this exhibit.
More than an exhibition, Wild Art for the Big of Heart is a three-week-long community experience, featuring talks, performances, hands-on activities, and interactive events designed to deepen understanding and connection.
All events are open to the public and free or by donation:
Ongoing throughout the exhibition, visitors of all ages can also take part in community painting and driftwood sculpture activities.
