One of our former sister grannies from Campbell River has asked us to share this opportunity to see the film "All That's Left of Me".
"No matter where one stands on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, this is a film more about humanity than politics and the inherent need to dutifully honor and respect it - regardless of one's nationality or ethnicity."
The film is described as a multi-generational drama that traces a Palestinian family's experiences from 1948 to 2022, focusing on themes of love, memory, and resistance. The film has been highlighted for its emotional depth and focus on human experiences rather than solely focusing on political rhetoric
The film had its world premiere at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival on 25 January 2025. It was selected as the Jordanian entry for the Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards, making the December shortlist.
